Role and Responsibilities:
We’re branching out into the world of bespoke garment design. We need a world class graphic designer who has an eye for detail, can produce amazing concepts to be created and worn on our social media platforms, then released to the world. As a graphic designer and apparel graphics printer at Team RH Fitness, you will be responsible for producing high-quality custom garment designs through various printing techniques. Your role will involve translating creative concepts into tangible products for our customers and owning the full process until the department grows. If you get a thrill from seeing your designs showcased to the world, this is the role for you. You will work directly with the merchandising team and social team to carry out your tasks. You will work fully in-house at our Team Valley Offices and report to the Head of TLC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating reactive design concepts relating to our social media content. Then taking these from concept-to-completion.
- Be involved in the implementation of these designs going to production in our small in-house printing set up.
- Operate and maintain printing equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal print quality and efficiency.
- Ensure accurate colour reproduction by calibrating printing equipment and performing colour tests as needed.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on printed products to identify and rectify any defects or inconsistencies.
- Choose appropriate printing materials, inks, and substrates based on design requirements and customer preferences.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of printing supplies and materials to ensure smooth production flow.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to prioritise and fulfil orders according to established timelines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while operating printing
- equipment and handling materials.
- Full understanding and competency of each element of the process, so knowledge sharing can be carried out once the department expands.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A strong background in graphic design.
- A vast knowledge of Adobe Creative suite.
- Proven experience in T-shirt printing using various methods such as DTF and DTG printing. Familiarity with related equipment and technologies. (Although full training will be provided on our new in-house printing equipment).
- A keen eye for design aesthetics, colour harmony, and attention to detail to ensure accurate design reproduction.
- Proficiency in operating printing equipment, conducting routine maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Understanding of colour calibration, ink mixing, and colour profiling to achieve consistent and accurate colour results.
- Familiarity with different fabric types and their interactions with different printing techniques and inks.
- Ability to manage multiple print jobs and meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Effective communication with the design team and production team to ensure design accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new printing technologies, techniques, and industry trends.
- Dedication to producing high-quality, visually appealing printed products that exceed customer expectations.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and guidelines when operating printing equipment and handling materials.

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
