Graphic Design / Pre-press Co-ordinator
A vacancy has arisen at Burwell Community Print for a key individual with a good range of print and design-related skills in its busy design room.
Located at the heart of a thriving Cambridgeshire village, Burwell Community Print – a digital printing company – is a charity which provides workplace training for adults with learning disabilities. Currently with a small team of two in the design room, the role of Graphic Design / Pre-press Co-ordinator will take responsibility for the day-to-day smooth-running of the department.

- Flexible working hours
- Currently 26-30 hrs pw with scope to increase (full-time 37.5 hours)
- Salary range: £22,500 to £25,500 (DOE) pro-rata
- Immediate start
Essential:
- Design skills and fully conversant with Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communicator – verbal and written skills
- Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail
- Good knowledge of design/artwork to pre-press activities
- Willing to learn / use of all in-house print equipment
- Supportive to the aims of the charity
- Experience in dealing with customers (face to face or via email/phone) placing orders and seeing jobs through to successful completion
- Good numeracy skills
Desirable:
- Background / training / qualification in graphic design
- Willing to increase hours as job develops
- Previous experience of working as part of a team
