About the Role:
We seek to recruit a Graduation & Certification Officer to the Assessment Service within the Academic Registry. The Service provides a challenging environment for self-motivated individuals seeking to further develop their professional careers. You will be responsible for the planning, management and co-ordination of the student side of ARU’s graduation ceremonies, the management of our conferment records and the secure provision of certification to our graduates. You will also work with other Services within the Academic Registry and across ARU, affording you the opportunity to diversify your skills and HE knowledge base.
With a degree or part qualified in a relevant professional qualification, and evidence of CPD, you’ll have experience of working with SITS-Vision or similar student record system, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a pressurised environment and demonstrate attention to detail.
Like much of ARU, the Academic Registry works on an agile basis – a mixture of office and home-based working and we can accommodate a variety of preferences in this regard.
