The Company:
We are working with a Regional Building Sub-Contractor who have an excellent reputation for delivering interesting projects for leading blue chip contractors in the North West of England.
They have excellent relationships with their clients that means they enjoy a good proportion of repeat, negotiated business.
Their senior management team are dynamic, knowledgeable and very approachable.
They have grown gradually over the last few years and are now capable of taking on projects valued up to £5 Million typically based in Liverpool and Manchester.
The Role:
Due to growth and an impressive pipeline of work already secured for 2023 they are in the middle of a recruitment drive that we are helping them with and they would like to recruit a Graduate or Trainee Quantity Surveyor to their growing Commercial Team.
The role involves working closely with the Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors working on significant £Multi Million new build projects for blue chip clients.
On-going support and development will be provided by the QSs, Senior QS’s and Company Directors.
Typical duties can include;
1. Site measurement
2. Internal and external valuations
3. Completing take off’s
4. Document management and control
5. Issuing payment notices
6. Placement and tracking of orders
You:
They would like to recruit a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their small, friendly Commercial team based in Liverpool.
Previous practical Quantity Surveying experience isn't a pre-requisite for this role.
They have a really good training and development programme that has seen a number of their junior QSs progress into QS and Snr QS roles.
You will be based in or be able to commute to Liverpool.
You will need to have a driving licence to be able to visit sites.
You will be IT literate and have an understanding of construction contracts.
