Job description

Technology is pivotal to how today’s businesses operate. Technology brings opportunities, new ways to connect and enables rapid and accurate decision-making.

Our Technology Engineering Graduate Programme is designed to support you on your journey for a successful career in technology. You will have opportunities to learn and develop a wide range of hands-on technical skills and to help deliver successful outcomes for our clients.

We operate at true scale whether that be client size, technical complexity or end service usage. We work with the right technology for the job. That means using the appropriate delivery methodology to suit client needs and working directly with leading public cloud providers to deliver cutting edge solutions on a global stage. This means you will be working with some of the best emerging technologies and practices.

As part of your three-year blended programme, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of different technical disciplines, ensuring that you develop a varied skill set, with the ability to specialise should you choose to, including Software Engineering, Data, Cyber, Automation, Microsoft Business Services and Cloud Engineering. For those that apply for this programme in our Glasgow office, you’ll join our Tax Technology Engineering team. This team focuses on delivering platforms and tools to our Tax & Legal clients and colleagues. You’ll be involved in a SAFe/Scrum agile software development process that develops well-architected, well-engineered, cloud-native web applications using the latest tools, techniques, taking a test driven development approach, including full continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines. The work you’ll do will span the delivery lifecycle, from initially shaping a project through to design and technical delivery. You will be part of collaborative agile teams, working with other talented engineers, product owners, user experience designers and business analysts.

Our best engineers come from a diverse set of backgrounds, which is why we say come as you are. We look for individuals who have a team-first mindset, are curious to learn from others and have a willingness to share what they learn. Individuals should be willing to take on early responsibility and relish problem solving. We welcome applications from all degree disciplines as we firmly believe that becoming a great engineer is driven by attitude as well as aptitude. Upfront we will give you the knowledge to be able to hit the ground running with a 14-week Engineering Bootcamp prior to you joining the business.

We’re creating a tech-driven business to empower and equip our people to be outstanding in delivery, no matter where they work – through inspiring collaboration spaces and new technologies. In your role, you’ll work flexibly across your location region – at engagement sites, our offices and home.

Join us and be inspired to grow, thrive and build a rewarding digital career.
