Job Title: Graduate Telecoms & Communication Engineering

Location: Barrow (Cumbria)

BAE do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected, on our Graduate Programme, you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager

Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 welcome bonus

What you will be doing
As a graduate Communications Engineer, you will be part of a growing multi-disciplinary team, developing solutions to complex technical questions and in-service upgrades, for both existing and future Submarine platforms, within the Engineering function. You will be working across the breadth of the engineering design lifecycle, to support the current projects and future bidding activity of the department. You will assist, in providing professional engineering services to meet the future operational needs of naval platforms, the Submarine business and customer programmes.

We also provide the opportunity to get involved in projects outside of your primary remit. We encourage you to seek a stretch project in which you will gain different experiences. As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or communications / Computing Systems network or Physics
