Graduate Sport Assistant
Required from September 2023
Mount Kelly, a flourishing independent, co-educational boarding and day school, has an opportunity for a Graduate Sport Assistant to assist with the thriving extra-curricular programme. The position is fixed term for a period of one academic year.
Applications would be welcome from dynamic and enthusiastic graduates. The post may be adapted to suit the specific talents of the candidate but the successful candidate will be an enthusiastic sportsperson, ideally with experience of coaching hockey, cricket, rugby and/or netball. This role would particularly suit someone who is keen to pursue a career in teaching.
The duties will include supporting academic staff in the delivery of academic, extra-curricular and pastoral programmes in a variety of learning environments. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute fully to the success and happiness of the Prep boarding house. A competitive salary and on-site accommodation will be provided.
The successful candidate will be expected to play a full part in the life of our busy boarding school which is located on the outskirts of the attractive market town of Tavistock on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon.
