Want to develop new and innovative health tech products and make a significant impact in the world of respiratory health and fitness? Well, we are seeking a Graduate Software Engineer to join our dynamic team to help develop new features for our existing mobile and desktop applications, as well as design and develop new applications based on user needs.

As a key member of our small yet dynamic team, you will play a critical role in developing new, innovative products in the field of computerised, electromechanical, breathing and training devices.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Software Engineer who is passionate about software development, healthcare, human performance and improving people’s lives. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with the development team to ideate, design, and implement new features and enhancements to our existing mobile and desktop applications, using agile methodologies and industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Help to design and develop new mobile and desktop applications based on user needs.
  • Work with the team to identify and resolve software defects and issues.

Key Skills and Experience

Required:

  • A degree in computer science / electronic engineering or similar.
  • Experience in at least one of the following: Swift, C++ and the Qt Framework, Java or Kotlin.
  • Familiarity with mobile and desktop application development concepts, technologies, and tools.
  • Experience working on individual or university project work in application development.
  • A passion for software development and a willingness to learn new technologies and skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in designing and implementing intuitive user interfaces (UIs) using tools such as Figma, with an eye for detail and a focus on user experience (UX).
  • Experience writing UI tests for mobile applications: Kotlin / Java or Swift.
  • Experience writing firmware for microcontrollers.

Hours and Location

  • Hours – Full-time and permanent following a successful probationary period
  • Location – Midlands, London. Hybrid / Fully Remote possible.
