Innovative Technology are seeking a motivated Graduate Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Manchester. We specialise in developing innovative embedded systems and solutions. We work with modern technologies to deliver robust and reliable solutions for a wide range of cash transaction devices and facial recognition products. As a market leader, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of embedded engineering and are seeking talented individuals to join our team in Manchester and contribute to our ongoing success.

As part of the firmware development team, our Graduate Software Engineer will be collaborating with other professionals to design, develop, and test embedded firmware for various hardware platforms and microcontrollers.

Responsibilities of our Graduate Software Engineer:

  • Design and Develop desktop applications and associated libraries.
  • Implement and maintain clean efficient code.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure Software quality and functionality.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow.

Required Skills and Experience to become our Graduate Software Engineer:

  • Knowledge of C# .Net for creating Desktop applications
  • Experience with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) or WinForms
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL Server
  • Knowledge of software version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, MSTest)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
