Job Title: Management Trainee

Roles and Responsibilities

• Participate in rotational on-ground work across various departments and roles within the branch, immersing yourself in the rich flavors and traditions of Chinese cuisine.
• Learn and understand the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, gaining hands-on experience in different areas of Chinese culinary arts.
• Assist in supervising and coordinating the work of staff members during the rotational period, fostering a spirit of teamwork and appreciation for the artistry of Chinese cooking.
• Collaborate with the management team to implement and maintain operational standards and procedures that reflect the essence of Chinese gastronomy.
• Provide support in administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, and handling customer feedback, contributing to the seamless fusion of Chinese culinary excellence and exceptional service.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Haidilao's service philosophy, ensuring the preservation and delivery of authentic Chinese dining experiences.

Capabilities

• Possess a strong drive for learning and self-improvement, fueled by a genuine passion for Chinese cuisine and culinary traditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers, colleagues, and chefs, fostering an environment that celebrates Chinese gastronomic heritage.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively, leveraging your understanding of Chinese culinary principles to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
• Being fluent in English is a significant advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in any field is preferred.

• The initial probation period will last for 3 months or less, depending on exceptional performance.

Additional Details

• Flexibility to travel between London and Birmingham may be required.
