We’re an award winning organisation due to our strong people first approach.
Innovation is a critical part of Experian's DNA and practices, and our diverse workforce drives our success. Everyone can succeed at Experian and bring their whole self to work, irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, colour, sexuality, physical ability or age. If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please let us know at the earliest opportunity.
Join us as a ‘Graduate Sales Associate’ and you’ll be in a dynamic and exciting role within Experian’s sales community.
As a Graduate Sales Associate, you’ll be working within our ‘Go-To-Market’ team, who look after our business-to-business (B2B) customers. The team develops new business, both from existing clients and from winning new clients across all sectors and types of business. We have seen sustained growth for many years and are growing revenues by more than 10% again this year. This trajectory is set to continue, and that’s where you come in…
As a Graduate Sales Associate you’ll build your network, develop your sales skills and launch your career. Depending on which of our sales teams you join, day to day you could be:
- Looking after an existing client portfolio, with the focus on upselling additional products and services.
- Using tech to engage with prospect clients to generate new business, ensuring that we continue to grow our client base.
- Speaking to clients and prospects over the phone, via email, LinkedIn etc.
- Building strong relationships across our sales teams to explore cross-sale opportunities.
Throughout your career with Experian you could gain exposure to exciting areas within Sales such as new business generation through research, telemarketing, business development and field sales.
In return, you will join a truly cohesive team that works together to achieve one single aspirational goal - to be number one in the industry!
If you choose to join us, you’ll receive industry training, wide-reaching career opportunities and a wealth of support through our Early Careers Network, buddy, line manager & mentor scheme. You’ll also join onto our structured 2-year graduate development programme, which is packed with workshops, short-courses & online material designed to help kick-start your career.
Our concept is simple. We believe in expanding horizons – it’s what makes Experian a global leader and a Top UK Tech Employer.
Qualifications
You’ll need to have recently achieved or be on track to achieve a minimum 2:2 degree classification in any subject field, tied with a passion for sales, customers and people. Speaking to clients and prospects will be at the core of your responsibilities and will be a fundamental aspect of your role.
You will have excellent communication skills and be a driven, personable graduate who loves a challenge! You’ll need to work well as a team player to make us even stronger. Previous customer service or sales experience is desirable but not essential. You will need to show a desire and commitment to learn, hit targets and advance your sales skills set.
