Role
You will be joining a team of award winning, recognised risk management experts across the UK, with a variety of global experience in different sectors, who are focused and passionate on ensuring you become an iconic risk manager. As a risk management graduate, not only will you be working alongside other project controls experts, but you will be embedded within project teams exposed to the real-life risks on a project.
Our team has developed a great culture, through focusing on building relationships within the team and taking opportunities to socialise together at team away days throughout the UK.
With us, a risk management graduate will provide a service to one or more programmes or projects and will assist / support in some or all the following activities. You will receive training and be able to:
- Deliver the risk management process across various sectors on some of the UK’s most exciting projects or programmes
- Undertake specialist risk techniques as necessary, including Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis and Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis
- Make connections to understand how risk management is delivered globally
- Build your reputation by delivering high quality facilitation sessions and presentations to a range of different stakeholders
- Provide support in relation to best practice risk management
About you
To be successful in gaining a position on our team you will:
- Have achieved or be on target to achieve a minimum of an Honours degree in Risk Management, Project Management, Business Management, or similar
- Have a keen interest in a career in project risk management and can demonstrate this through relevant university modules and projects and/or work experience gained through summer placements and internships
- Be very proactive and can focus on the fine details and work with accuracy
- Be able to communicate honestly and manage different stakeholders
- Be willing and able to travel to meet face to face with clients and the risk team (travel funded by Stantec)
- Be eligible to live and work in the UK at the time you start employment.
