Job description
Barker Ross are recruiting for a Production Operative with a FLT Counterbalance certificate for our client based in Wellingborough.
Shift is 4 on 4 off rotating Days and Nights working 05:45am-18:00pm and 17:45pm-06:00am. This is a temp to perm contract.
- Safe operation of the associated process equipment.
- Work safely by following the SOP and procedures.
- Complete a visual safety inspection of the equipment prior to operation.
- Operate the machinery and monitor it continuously to optimise running conditions.
- Support the Production Supervisor with continuous improvement throughout the shift, reporting progress and track improvements.
- Identification, weighing and recording of regrind and waste streams and the correct disposal of waste stream material.
- Operation of PLC driven control system, for the purpose of optimising the production process, and diagnostic checks noting faults and reporting to production Supervisor and maintenance.
- Record the weights on the production documentation and bulk bag.
- Support initiatives to ensure minimal waste and improve housekeeping during production.
