As one of Scotland’s largest Solar PV specialists, Forster Group design, distribute, install and maintain thousands of solar PV systems every year.
Since 2010, Forster Energy has established a substantial client base from a broad spectrum of sectors, including Construction, Agriculture, the Public Sector and Industry. Installing a diverse range of systems, including Ground mounted, Facades and Roof tops. Established in 1990, Forster Roofing provides Integrated Solar and Roofing services to thousands of New Build Homes, working with every major Home Builder and a wide range of Social Housing Providers. Forster Industrial is one of Scotland’s largest Distributors of Solar PV and associated electrical products.
The Role
You will join an established Solar team and will be trained and supported in your development so that you become responsible for:
· Understanding innovations & opportunities in energy storage solutions
· Design & create tenders for solar PV systems
· Specify, source & procure materials
· Analyse system performance & prepare statistics
· Liaise with DNO & other statutory bodies
· Maintain statutory and regulatory compliance
· Provide technical support & guidance
· Maintain operations & systems in accordance with ISO & MCS
Key attributes for this role include, competence in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel, ability to anticipate and respond proactively to challenges, disciplined approach to planning, organisation and administration, ability to self-manage work load, to work effectively in a team and develop positive external relationships.
There are no pre-requisite requirements, we encourage graduates and/or those working in the sector with relevant experience to apply. Applicants for interview will be selected on the quality and content of their application. A genuine interest in PV, storage and future energy opportunities is essential. Graduate Apprentice applications will be considered.
