About the role
Our graduate programme will provide you with first-hand experience while working towards a professional qualification.

You’ll join us on a 24-month trainee programme and sit in our Cost Management team. You will be working towards a Chartered Quantity Surveyor by completing the Quantity Surveying route for the Assessment of Professional Competency (APC).

Quantity Surveyors provide expert advice on construction costs, which is why they are also known as Cost Consultants or Cost Managers. Our team ensures that proposed projects are affordable and offer good value for money, so essentially they hold the purse strings of the project.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll get involved in real work from day one that will help clients achieve their ambitions
You’ll help research and calculate design costs to create budget estimates
You’ll monitor project spend and help report on costs to ensure they are within budgets
You’ll visit sites to carry out site visits to check on project progress
You’ll help prepare reports and contract documents for clients
You’ll research and keep up to date with relevant market insight and legislation that may impact our work
You’ll build relationships across our business and clients to ensure we deliver a great service
You’ll take part in regular training in business skills, technical knowledge, and professional development to support your growth.

QualificationsGCSEs – C / 4 grade or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
