Have you graduated in the last four years? We have a graduate vacancy in our Strategic Projects Directorate that delivers large and regionally significant projects which provide transformational opportunities for the Highlands and Islands.
Join our graduate placement programme and become a member of the team that supports diverse areas such as renewable energy, our emerging space sector and most recently the new Green Freeport being established at Inverness and Cromarty. You will also get involved in a variety of Growth Deal projects covering a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, food and drink, aerospace, tourism and energy with individual projects ranging from support for young entrepreneurs through to building ultra-deep water ports.
This is a full time, two-year role ideally based in Inverness, with the option of hybrid working.
THE ROLE
As a member of the Strategic Projects Directorate you will play a key role in supporting projects across the portfolio and will work with partner organisations to ensure progress, meet budgets and achieve project goals. Key aspects of the role will be supporting the development of project business cases and other project documentation such as schedules, budgets, carbon balances and stakeholder feedback. Partner organisations will include local councils, social enterprises, businesses and both UK and Scottish governments.
THE PERSON
An excellent communicator, you will have the ability to engage and influence partner organisations and stakeholders.
You will have good analytical skills, attention to detail with the ability to assess information and produce high quality written work.
