Job description
We are looking for a creative and brand-oriented product photographer/videographer to highlight the best qualities of our product through images and videos. The product photographer's responsibilities include liaising with clients, sourcing props for shoots, arranging the products, and editing pictures. They should also have meticulous attention to detail, fresh creative flair, and be a team player who is excited to work in a fast-paced, growth environment.
To be successful as a product photographer, you must have excellent planning skills, maintain good relationships with clients, and keep up with the latest photo editing software.
Product Photographer Responsibilities:
- Researching the product to understand how best to photograph or video it.
- Sourcing props that will enhance the product.
- Finding models if necessary.
- Sourcing locations for photoshoots.
- Editing images and videos to match the Secret Creation brand.
- Staying up to date with the latest image editing software.
- Styling and possible decorating of the photo scene.
Product Photographer Requirements:
- Proficiency in Photoshop and/or Lightroom.
- Previous experience as a photographer and videographer (with a products-based portfolio).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to form new concepts for each product shoot.
- Good understanding of studio lighting techniques.
- Good time management skills at a shoot.
- Be self-motivated with a can-do attitude with the ability to problem-solve and use your own initiative.
- Passionate, bubbly & enthusiastic.
- Social media experience would be a bonus but not essential.

** Our dog (Labrador) will be in the workshop most days, so the successful applicant must be dog friendly.
Applicants must be available to work 9 to 5 Monday to Friday from our studio in Swallow Enterprise Park, Hailsham, East Sussex with the understanding of the importance of delivering a project on time and being dependable, punctual, and flexible including some overtime.
Applicants must be able to get to work without relying on public transport, as we are in a semi-rural location.
The position is Full-Time, working from our premises in Hailsham. No Part-Time or Remote working applications will be considered.
