Job description
The HBSUK Project Managers are responsible for Virtual Lucy (VL) project mobilisations, and ongoing client relationship management. This includes liaising with multiple business teams to plan and mobilise projects, as well as ability to request and understand MI reporting, and present.
Graduate Project Managers receive coaching and mentoring from line managers, to aid in their development pathway to become a certified HBSUK Project Manager, as well as working with all members of the Virtual Lucy Operations team to gain greater knowledge and understanding of processes and procedures.
Graduate Project Managers also have the opportunity to complete structured Project Management training, funded by HBSUK, to enhance their foundational project management knowledge, and the ability to apply it to day-to-day practice
- To be able to liaise with multiple teams within HBSUK, as well as external clients and suppliers, to plan and mobilise Virtual Lucy Projects
- To be able to understand and swiftly act on day-to-day issues or queries that arise from patients, clinicians, clients, or HBSUK operational personnel (inc. complaints)
- To be able to prioritise tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- To produce and maintain VL process maps, documenting the operational processes of the project in full; accompanied by detailed sub-processes
- Oversight for a portfolio of projects.
- Working with VL Operational Support to ensure all projects are delivering against KPI’s, with clear recovery plans where this is not achieved.
- To be able to understand & request MI for specific projects (developing, validation, RAG, and trend reporting)
- To be responsible for MI reporting and trend analysis for their associated portfolio
- Ongoing client relationship management, once projects are mobilised (contract & reporting meetings)
- Developing and maintaining associated portfolio RAID logs and mitigation plans for day-to-day operational and project risks
- To engage with operational and clinical personnel to produce training material for responsible projects
- To plan and coordinate end-to-end testing of associated VL portfolios for new releases
- Writing and publishing case studies for responsible projects

The role reports to the Virtual Lucy Operations Manager and any person designated by the Operations Director.
Essential Criteria:
- Be degree educated and be a recent graduate (last 2 years)
- Experience in interpreting and analysing MI
- Experience with customer/client relationship management
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to form strong relationships with a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to achieve objectives in line with business priorities
- Ability to work well as part of a team and to lead a team to deliver key objectives
- Demonstrated a strong level of motivation and tenacity
Desirable Criteria:
- Project Management Qualification e.g. Prince2
- 2:1 or higher in undergrad
- Previous operational coordination or management experience
- Experience working from home
- Presenting experience
