The Role : Graduate Product Specialist
The Location: London, United Kingdom
The Team: The fixed income pricing team provides independent pricing, analytics and liquidity metrics on loans, CDS and government, supranational, agency and corporate bonds. Using proprietary tools and various market data sources, we evaluate over 200,000 prices intraday.
The Impact: This position will be for someone who has a keen interest in how fixed-income instruments are priced, with a special focus on corporate & government bonds and syndicated loans. The successful candidate will be expected to monitor market movements and become a sector specialist in their designated area. Operational tasks such as data quality, customer support, and client relationships will also be part of this role.
What’s in it for you: The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately pricing various sectors of the EMEA fixed-income market using proprietary models. Responsibilities will include accurate valuation of fixed-income securities intraday as markets move, credit spread analysis, dealers quote research, analysis of primary and secondary markets, maintaining existing pricing models and increasing sector coverage, managing client challenges and providing asset class & product expertise to customers. Further education is encouraged and supported.
Responsibilities: The pricing team is a small unit operating in a time-sensitive environment. As such, all members must participate in all activities necessary to keep the product competitive and moving forward. A sense of willingness to do whatever needs to be done is key to the team's effective operation. Flexible working hours to cover the London shift when required.
