An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Suffolk Fire and Rescue as a Apprentice Administration Assistant based at Fire Service Headquarters, Endeavour House, Ipswich.

Your role and responsibilities
You will be responsible for undertaking various administrative activities to support all departments within the emergency service.
You will be part of an efficient team who:
- Professionally respond to non-emergency telephone calls, dealing with enquires from members of the public and other agencies.
- Gather sensitive information and populate bespoke databases.
- Distribute post and scan documents.
- Work flexibly to support each other.
- Have the opportunity to develop and progress within the organisation
Your apprenticeship
- Level 3 Business Administrator
- 18 months

You will need
- previous customer service experience
- excellent IT skills
- good level of literacy and numeracy.
