About the Role

LV= General Insurance and Allianz Personal Lines are excited to be launching our Graduate Pricing Analyst programme for successful candidates to join Summer 2023.

The purpose of the role is to undertake statistical analysis to support product and pricing development, improving the pricing and products we offer to our customers.

Staring in July or August 2023 you can be based in either our London, Birmingham, Brentwood, or Croydon office on a Hybrid basis. We adopt a flexible working environment with a strong focus on continuous learning and development.

Closing date for application is the 4th March with interviews and assessment being scheduled soon after.


About You

You will have an analytical mind and a keen interest in helping drive data-led decision making across Pricing. You’ll have strong Excel skills and also be a great communicator, with the ability to present your ideas to stakeholders from around the business.

Educated at a degree level in a STEM field or another subject with substantial mathematical/statistical content.

The most important aspect is your attitude - you'll be curious, inquisitive and very detail oriented to be successful in the role and our team will work with you to build your experience and expertise in the Pricing area.


The Details

You will deliver pricing analysis and provide accurate and relevant business information using a variety of software including Databricks, Radar and Excel. You will interpret the output and communicate the results to both technical & non-technical audiences.

You will be required to consider the LV values and customer impacts when proposing pricing changes, appropriately documenting work for implementation and future reference or review.

You will deliver project work and reviews or analysis to agreed business timescales. You will understand requirements in Pricing meetings and document important decisions and challenges from the forum.

In addition to this you will build and maintain relationships with teams involved in the Pricing end-to-end delivery process, working with the wider Pricing team to understand best practices and keep aligned with the best ways of working.

As a Graduate Pricing Analyst there will be potential to be placed in one of the following teams;

LV Partnerships - Birmingham or Croydon

LV Research & Development - Birmingham or Croydon

LV Broker - Brentwood or Croydon

LV Technical - Birmingham or Croydon
