With over 200 chemists at our Nottingham site, and a growing Alderley Park site, we are home to one of the UK's largest synthetic and medicinal chemistry groups. Our experience and enthusiasm allow us to provide our extensive international network of clients and collaborators with the cutting-edge scientific expertise and intellectual input they need to propel their drug discovery projects forward.

By joining us here in the medicinal chemistry group at Sygnature, you will have the opportunity to work alongside, and learn from, our dedicated team of scientists with extensive experience in every stage of the drug discovery process. You will have continual opportunities to develop and apply creative approaches to problem solving, both within the lab and through in-house training activities. You will also be invited to attend regular seminars with industry leaders and academic collaborators to further assist in your broader scientific development.

With demand for the many services we provide continuing to grow, we are presently looking to further expand the chemistry team at our Nottingham and Alderley Park sites via the recruitment of highly motivated individuals eager to begin, or continue building, their careers in the dynamic and stimulating field of drug discovery. We are therefore keen to hear from prospective recruits who have completed a chemistry-focused degree program to MSc level, or equivalent. Ideal candidates will have previously obtained some relevant lab experience with a focus on practical organic synthesis, either in the form of a synthetic final-year undergraduate research project, an Industrial Placement year, internship or employment since completing their university studies, or suitable combinations thereof.
