This engineering firm is a world leading product design consultancy. Based from their state of the art facility in Warwickshire, they work with international clients on projects spanning the medical and scientific, consumer, transport, commercial and industrial sectors.

The role will see you creating elegant mathematical models, designing clever mechanisms, getting hands on building and testing prototypes in the workshops and labs fitted with state of the art equipment. You will help create novel intellectual property, reduce cost and environmental impact, and improve performance to create class leading products. This firm opportunity to work with some of the world’s most exciting and innovative brands and companies, including Bentley, GSK, Reckitt, Hitachi, Rolls-Royce, Sanofi to tackle some of the most challenging issues at the cutting edge of product design and development.
Based from their facility in Warwickshire, you will be part of a multi-functional project team, working closely with designers, electronics, software engineers and other specialists to create class-leading designs. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain diverse consultancy experience and expand on your technical design skills.
What You Need:
- Achieved or on track for a high 2:1 (66%+) or first class degree (or equivalent) in the mechanical engineering field
- UCAS points at 128 or above (A,B,B minimum at Alevel or Distinctions in BTec) or equivalent
- Experience through university modules or professional exposure to product design and development projects
- A positive and proactive approach to logical problem-solving
