Job description
Graduate Internship: Graduate Support Intern
Salary: Grade 3 (£20,578 - £21,761 p.a. depending upon experience)
This role will be based on the university campus. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you a University of Leeds graduate (or about to graduate) looking for a 12 month internship with a focus on helping other graduates gain positive outcomes after university? Do you have strong communication skills, and a desire to help other graduates?
We are looking for a hard-working and organised graduate to join the Careers Services' dedicated Graduate Support Team. You will work with graduates in 1:1s and groups, and coordinate activities as part of a Graduate Support Programme that can be accessed by all graduates, to ensure that as many as possible secure a positive outcome that is right for them after leaving university.
Having a graduate’s perspective on how to reach final year students and graduates aids our work immensely, and this is a great opportunity to have a real impact on students, graduates and the University.
This is a 12-month, full-time internship, starting with us in July 2023.
You will be provided with all the training you need for this role, but excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for the role, and for supporting students and graduates, are important. You will develop vital employability and transferable skills, essential for your future career. This internship will enable you to develop a range of skills including communication, research, events management and marketing.
What we offer in return
