Job description
As part of the Centre of Excellence for Genetics and Genomics funded by Versus Arthritis, you will assist with routine processing of blood, saliva, urine, and synovial fluid samples. These samples arrive daily, at any time, and require preparation and storage as they come in. You will also be expected to support department in all aspects of sample archive management in the reception and processing of samples. This will involve the use of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) with robotic sample workstations. There will also be training in techniques such as running ELISA assays and genotyping.
