- The 2-year graduate programme is structured upon four rotations, nominally 6 months duration, with exposure to a variety of key engineering disciplines including Systems, Software, Electronics, FPGA and Environmental Test Engineering as well as other departments outside of engineering
- Your home discipline will be within Firmware/FPGA Engineering where you will begin and end your graduate journey
- After completion of the two-year scheme, you are guaranteed a position at Ultra Cyber within the Firmware/FPGA engineering function, unless exposure to another area has prompted an interest to change discipline

- Implement FPGA firmware development in line with the company firmware development process and supporting codes of practice.
- Verify FPGA firmware by generating test benches and carrying out simulation testing using ModelSim, Verilog or SystemVerilog
- Validate FPGA firmware by carrying out integration tests on target hardware.
- Contribute to the creation of FPGA firmware requirements, architecture, and design documentation.
- Create applications/scripts in Python or .tcl to support deterministic test development.
- Ultra Cyber UK provide a unique experience to work on a range of projects from early inception to delivery as well as early research activities pathfinding future crypto solutions.
- Relevant degree in a STEM related discipline with a minimum of a lower second-class honours degree.
- Experience of VHDL or equivalent FPGA development method.
- Experience of ModelSim, QuestaSim, or equivalent FPGA simulation tools.
- Knowledge of embedded VHDL design for Xilinx and/or Microsemi FPGAs.
- Digital Design, VHDL, modelsim.
- Willing and able to obtain, and maintain, SC/DV security clearance
