About AlphaSights
AlphaSights was born with a purpose: to unlock human knowledge and power progress. From our state-of-the-art offices in nine major world cities, we connect business leaders seeking knowledge with the experts who possess it. We're one of the fastest-growing global companies, employing 1500+ colleagues of 60+ nationalities.
What we do
We operate at the heart of the global knowledge economy, providing a suite of knowledge-on-demand services to investment funds, consultancies, Fortune 500 companies and nonprofits. Our clients use our services when evaluating critical investment and business decisions. We connect them with industry experts who possess specific knowledge that is otherwise unavailable to them.
We're a fast-paced, client-driven service organization. We respond to client inquiries within minutes and deliver within hours. When deadlines are tight, and when robust insight is make or break, our clients count on us.
The Team
The Finance team at AlphaSights is an expanding, global function responsible for planning, accounting, controlling and, ultimately, enabling our fast-paced business. The team is divided into a number of subteams, including Accounts Payable, Billing & Receivables, Commercial Finance, Group Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Tax, who work closely together to support all of our 9 offices, from Tokyo to San Francisco.
The Role
As our global operations continue to scale, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious graduate to join our entry-level finance rotation programme. This programme will provide you with an opportunity to work in 3-4 different roles within our finance team over a 2-year period, with the aim of providing a comprehensive understanding of the finance function and the wider business and to establish you as a future finance leader in the organisation. While your exact programme will be jointly decided between you and the finance leadership team, you will be assigned on rotations to a combination of our Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, and Billing and Payments teams.
Based in our London office, you'll undertake a rotation programme across multiple Finance teams including Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Accounting, Accounts Receivables, and Accounts Payables. Depending on your exact program rotations, responsibilities could include:
- Assist with the preparation of regional monthly management accounts and for closing and reporting the results into the group function while ensuring full compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
- Support the day-to-day work of a transactional finance team, producing relevant account reconciliations on a monthly basis and communicating directly with our clients in our Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable teams
- In FP&A, analyse variances on monthly accounts against budget and prior year and collaborate with the team in producing the company's financial plan.
- Participate in projects and initiatives in your respective teams and across the Finance function, gaining exposure to a wide range of areas and activities.
What We Look For
