The Role
Graduate Finance Analyst (12 Month FTC)
About the role
The purpose of the role is to ensure the Business Intelligence and Reporting (BIRA) and Treasury teams have the support needed for them to be able to carry out their own roles effectively and efficiently.
The role will assist with various reporting, validation and administrative tasks supporting the BIRA and treasury teams. The role holder will gain exposure to all aspects of treasury and global reporting and analysis.
This is a developing role and it may evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of the finance department as we manage our way through a change programme.
The role will assist with:
· compilation of information for weekly and monthly reporting purposes including cash position reporting and management account reporting.
· data input and manipulation
· validating information provided by the global finance teams.
· Supporting in the delivery of cash positioning and reporting
· setting up templates for reporting submissions.
· maintain central databases for capex, bank mandate and facility database.
· banking administration including liaising with banking and financial services partners as required in order to facilitate the on-going operations of the business including bank administration.
In terms of location, our offices are in Teddington, SW London and Bath. We are happy to explore flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Presence in your local office will be required 2-3 days per week.
About you
You will have a professional manner with an open, interpersonal style.
You should be confident to work with people at all levels within BMT and able to build positive and effective working relationships.
We are looking for a good communicator who is able to prioritise a busy and changing workload.
You can work to tight deadlines and able to take accurate notes/
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel & PowerPoint with knowledge of PowerBi an advantage
