Position Overview

The role of Content Specialist is to help develop and execute content strategies to drive valuable, targeted, traffic and generate business for our clients. Working with and supporting the Senior

Content Specialist and the Head of Content in creating, maintaining, monitoring and analysing content performance over various digital media platform and accounts.

Structure

Reporting to the Head of Content, you will also build strong relationships with: -

  • The Content and Social Media Team
  • The Technical Team
  • The Paid Team
  • The Senior Management Team
  • The Administration and Finance Team

Role responsibilities include: -

  • Implementation of content campaigns including content creation, on-page optimisation, social media and link building and email campaigns
  • Writing engaging blogs, pages, product and republishings for a wide variety of audiences, including business to business and business to consumer retail
  • Creating content, republishing and optimisation plans
  • Research topic areas for client content calender development
  • Carrying out client competitor and industry research
  • Carrying out Keyword, related questions research and SERP analysis
  • Adding and monitoring of keywords to tracking software, e.g., Moz and Semrush
  • Building buyer personas
  • Checking copy (proofreading and reviewing SEO value)
  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met
  • Understanding best SEO practices and applying these to the work being carried out
  • Build and develop client relationships, ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered at all times
  • Assist with the preparation of report data and reports
  • Assist with the preparation of presentation material, content and presenting
  • Any other duty that may be required in line with the business needs

  • Highly organised and the ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Ability to deliver a high level of customer service
  • Good level of Microsoft skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Has an eye for presenting visual material to engage target customers and clients

Place of work:

The role of Content Specialist is an office based role, with the possibility of also working from home.
The role is for 37.5hours a week, with working hours between 8.00am and 5.00pm with an hour for lunch. Exact hours of work will be agreed before commencement .

Holiday Allowance

25 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days plus bank holidays with length of service.

Salary

£20K to £25K per annum, depending on experience and skill set
