The Role:
This is your chance to join a two year rotational programme designed to give you unrivalled commercial experience and exposure to technical challenges. This company have a huge emphasis on personal development and will mentor you to chartered status.
You will spend time in a variety of technical functions, gain exposure to a wide range of engineering projects, and will be given a great amount of responsibility. The rotations will vary between internal departments and external placements with rail consultancies, operators and manufacturers and areas will include fleet engineering, project management, and product development teams. The aim of the programme is to equip you with a fantastic oversight of the rail industry and how the company operates.
The company are passionate about innovation and are future focused. You will be identifying problems, generating ideas and then developing improvements to increase performance, reliability and longevity of different fleets. With de-carbonisation and a move away from Diesel as top priorities in the industry, it's an exciting time to make a big impact through this graduate scheme.
Requirements:
- 2:1 level degree or equivalent in electrical and electronic engineering / we will accept all accredited engineering courses by the IET
- Great communication skills
- Demonstrable leadership skills
- Excellent problem solving abilities
- You will be naturally curious and have innovative ideas
