Trackit247 – We are a live GPS tracking solutions company with our head office in Hemel Hempstead. We currently have a opening for a Accounts Assistant to join our expanding team. This role will require you to work from the office. This role is open to Part-Time and Full-Time applicants.
We are a provider of LIVE GPS tracking solutions and supply, maintain and support the GPS tracking needs of a large range of clients in both the public and private sector.
As a Accounts Assistant, you will be working closely with the Directors and Operations Manager on a daily basis.
Main Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Experience in Xero Accounting Package or similar
- Balancing accounts
- Reconciling bank/credit card statements
- Preparing and issuing sales invoices to customers
- Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
- Chasing payments from customers
- Processing purchase invoices, receipts and payments and pay supplier invoices
- Reconciling receipts to accounts
- Preparing and completing VAT returns
- Run monthly finance reports from Sage (P&L, Balance Sheet, Aged Debtors and Aged Creditors)
- Preparing cashflow statements when required
- Assist in Budgeting
- Record cash receipts and make bank deposits if needed
- Credit control
- Taking payments over the phone
- Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
- Liaising with our company accountant
- Process wages payments on time
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management
- Liaising with our clients on occasions
- Liaising with our engineers
- Keeping organised
As we are a small company we are looking for someone who has a friendly attitude and will be able to assist in others areas of the business when needed.
Job Type: Part-Time/Full-time, Permanent, Office Based role
Pay: £19,000 - £25,000 – DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE (This is the salary for the full time role)
