Due to our nature of work, we have an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join our engineering department as a graduate engineer who will learn the different operations of the business.
The graduate engineer will be responsible for carrying out the duties of the engineering department, including design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, estimating, process improvements and may require helping in other departments. The successful candidate will be working under direct supervision of the lead engineer and alongside with the quality/purchases departments.

Graduate Engineer Position Overview
- Liaising with client and suppliers to identify requirements, improve design and manufacturer processes.
- investigate and undertake analysis on how to improve new/existing projects
- overseeing projects from concept to manufacturing
- Assisting the development of new products and design for manufacture using ANSYS SpaceClaim.
- plan effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time, to standard and to budget.
- Assisting other department when needed.
Graduate Engineer Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with 3D Modelling software, Preferable ANSYS SpaceClaim. (Beneficial but not required as in-house training will be provided)
- Basic understanding of engineering technical/engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in changing environments and be able to be agile and react to changes in the project and product.
- At least 1 year industrial experience. (Beneficial but not required)
- Willingness to learn.
Graduate Engineer Position Remuneration
- Full Time Position (39 Hours) Monday to Friday
- Salary £23,000 to £25,000 - dependent upon experience
- 20 days plus bank holidays + 3 days for Christmas holiday
- Bonuses based on performances
