Graduate Quality &* Process Engineer*

What you will do:
As a Quality &* Process Graduate Engineer*, you will:
- To work within the Quality teams centrally and on-site alongside the wider plant teams to support the SGIS strategy to continuously improve product and process performance through optimisation whilst achieving compliance to the necessary internal and external standards and customer requirements
- Contribute to strengthen our safety culture putting safety at the forefront of everything you do.
- Investigate product quality issues arising from internal and external sources using the appropriate WCM tools and methodology
- Support our purpose of “making the world a better home”.
- Support where appropriate as we transition to Quality Assurance in our drive towards zero complaints. Use your knowledge of Statistical Process Control as we roll out the technique into new areas
- Collection and analysis of production data to identify opportunity for improvements to the K.P.I.’s.
- Work on projects centrally with travel to our SGIS sites
What you’ll need:
- You will hold or be expecting to graduate in 2023 with one of the following Degree qualifications or equivalent:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering
- similar Science Engineering discipline
- General Engineering degree
- Have practical experience and / or theoretical knowledge of your area of specialism
- Have strong communication skills, enjoy working in a collaborative environment and can apply your knowledge working with a diverse range of projects.
- A collaborative approach to solving problems and can apply your knowledge working with a diverse range of projects
- A proactive results driven mind-set that can work successfully in a team environment
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications
- Able to demonstrate our values of trust, collaboration, and empowerment
- Full UK Driving Licence.
