About the opportunity in our Assurance Technical & Regulation (AT&R) team
Do you want to develop into a Professional Control & Instrumentation Engineer to play a vital role in defence and civil nuclear programmes in the UK, and want to apply cyber security principles to safety-related control & instrumentation systems?
AT&R provides a range of services to the Ministry of Defence in support of safe, available and affordable nuclear propulsion for the current Vanguard Class SSBN fleet and the Trafalgar Class and Astute Class SSN hunter/killer fleets, as well as supporting the design and development of the Dreadnought Class, the next generation of SSBN submarines. The capability of Nuclear Submarines supports the UK National infrastructure and Security.
Here’s What You’ll Need:- Be working towards a relevant Science or Engineering Degree or Masters level qualification
- To be a flexible and innovative self-starter who brings a curious mindset to finding solutions for real-world problems
- The adaptability to learn, unlearn and reprioritise as things around you change
- You must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
