Job description
In Deals we solve the important problems that stand in the way of value being created, sustained, realised or protected for our clients – working together to aid responsible recovery and growth. Working on iconic deals with national and global clients, we put together major mergers and acquisitions and resolve business crises - from international take-over bids to financial crime investigations and cases of insolvency. We draw upon our deals experience across many industries to support and partner with our clients, to positively impact society and the communities in which we operate.
Programme
Our graduate training programme is underpinned by a development framework that broadens and deepens your knowledge. You'll learn from hands-on coaching and an outstanding variety of work, picking up business, personal and technical skills you can use across the network, and throughout your career.
What you'll do
You'll work on multiple concurrent and high profile projects and work alongside our experienced Rapid Application Solution Development team. You'll be asked to come up with innovative solutions, research new products, tools and techniques, working independently and as part of teams.
You'll be using leading low code development platforms, such as Mendix and Microsoft Power Platform, leveraging cloud services in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, and creating dashboards using Tableau and Microsoft PowerBI. We advise our clients on the right solution to solve their business process challenges and take these forward and develop those into applications.
As we look to harness cutting edge artificial intelligence, robotics and other emerging tech to assist our clients, you’ll have the opportunity to research, design and implement these technologies to solve real life issues.
What you'll gain
When you join the Application Solutions team there will be opportunities for you to complete a wide range of technical and non-technical training. You will receive training to suit your personal development needs which will support your role and potential career progression.
You'll develop your network and build strong relationships with senior members of the team. We'll be investing in you to upskill, undergo training and further develop your capabilities in using low code technology and designing technology solutions for clients. You'll also have opportunities and coaching on other non-technical aspects of development such as requirements gathering and presentations. You'll also work towards achieving qualifications in low code, rapid application development.
What you'll need
If you love technology, are naturally inquisitive and enjoy solving problems using an analytical mindset, we would be interested in talking to you.
Candidates should also be prepared to travel as some of our projects may require team members to work at other PwC offices and/or client sites nationally or internationally.
You'll need to have or be on course to pass an undergraduate degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.
A degree background in a STEM related subject is desirable but not mandatory. If you can demonstrate a strong interest or previous learning in Technology we will also consider your application.
