As a Graduate Data Scientist, you’ll enjoy learning to use a range of mathematical and Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to extract, analyse and interpret data. As a Graduate Data Scientist, you’ll be learning to;
- Develop scripts to extract and fuse date from a variety of sources
- Identify and apply appropriate algorithms and heuristics for data cleansing
- Use mathematical techniques to identify correlations, predict and provide insight
- Use Machine Learning techniques to perform classifications and predictions
- Build and test models that simulate the target operation to enable decisions Visualise results in an easily digestible manner to enable better operational decision making.
The Key Requirements...
- A recent degree-level STEM qualification
- An ability to understand and develop mathematical models
- Proficiency with at least one software language
- An understanding of data analysis tools (i.e., Jupyter Notebook, Matlab or R etc.)
- Some exposure to at least one of the below;
- Hadoop or other ‘Big Data’ platforms
- SQL / noSQL storage solutions
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
- Cloud solutions Visualisation techniques and technologies (e.g., ELK)

Where you’ll work…
Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you’ll find our Romsey site located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest District and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast. This is no corporate concrete jungle; this is a manor house site, with ample parking an on-site gym and a driveway full of daffodils in the spring.

Clearances…
Due to the nature of this role, we require you to be eligible to achieve SC and DV clearance. As a result, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the U.K. for the last 10 years.
