ClearLead Consulting (an SLR company) is a specialist energy, carbon and sustainability consultancy, founded in 2014 offering high quality, specialist consultancy services to select clients in commercial, industrial and public sectors in the UK and overseas. Due to our continued success and growth, we have a vacancy for a keen and self-motivated Graduate who is looking to develop their technical knowledge in an energy, carbon and sustainability consultancy. The location can be flexible but is likely to be based predominately in offices in East Devon or Manchester.
The role
The position is for a graduate to work alongside our experienced team of consultants and support them in the delivery of project related tasks. This role is likely to have a specific focus on the delivery of strategic environmental assessments and sustainability appraisals but if may also include providing support on projects including for example, energy management, carbon footprinting and net zero strategy development, renewable feasibility studies, data analysis, GIS, energy and water benchmarking, and ESG strategies and reporting.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical and numerical skills, who is well organised and an effective communicator, with strong interpersonal skills.

- Degree-level or higher qualification in a STEM subject
- Demonstrable knowledge or experience on environmental planning and sustainability or energy and/or carbon related issues
- Full driving licence valid in UK
Desirable:
- Post graduate experience in the sustainability / energy and/or carbon management sector.
- Familiarity with GIS packages
- Experience working in the environmental, sustainability or energy sector
