Job description
Newman University is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our highly motivated Sport academics and practitioners. By becoming part of our team, you will support the learning, teaching and research within the Sport subject area.
Sport at Newman boasts modern facilities, such as a Human Performance Laboratory, Sports Therapy room, sports hall, and a 4G Rubber Crumb Artificial Grass Pitch. As a team member, you will be supporting undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Joining our dynamic Sport team means participating in the delivery of engaging, student-centred learning experiences. Alongside your role as a Sport Graduate Assistant, you will have the opportunity to pursue a part-time, funded PhD in a related discipline, supervised by our experienced staff, or undertake an MPhil with the University, depending on your qualifications.
To be considered for this rewarding position, applicants should have a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree in sport and exercise, sports therapy, or a related discipline. Additionally, experience and knowledge of sports-related testing in performance, training, education, or rehabilitation contexts are required.
