Argus Consulting Services is the advisory division of Argus Media — the largest independent energy publisher in the world. This role is part of the subscription services group that publishes analysis, research, data and commentary on international energy markets.
Our work is firmly focused on markets — their structure, logistics and economics. Argus Consulting Services draws on Argus’ key strengths — energy markets expertise, global networks and proprietary databases — in order to deliver real client value.
Key Responsibilities
Support and develop petrochemical analytics products using data management, industry analysis, and preparation of written content- Maintain and publish models each month to forecast industry prices
- Provide input on economic and statistical modelling methodology
- Consolidate regional information from internal teams and incorporate into your analysis
- Develop expertise within a particular area of petrochemicals such as olefins, polymers or aromatics
- Support business development and marketing initiatives
- Industry experience within the chemical or energy industry
- Research and analysis experience from strategic planning departments or consulting positions a plus
- Strong experience in market research, data management, and analysis in chemical or energy commodity markets
- Ability to work from Argus London office 3+ days per week
