Job description

Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (NIE Networks) is the owner of the electricity transmission and distribution networks in Northern Ireland, transporting electricity to over 910,000 customers including homes, businesses and farms.

We currently have two vacancies for Graduate Analysts and would love to hear from you if you are up for a challenge and wish to be part of a dynamic team. A comprehensive induction and training programme will be available for the successful candidates. The roles are based at our recently refurbished offices at Danesfort but we also have an agile home working arrangement in place.

Our Market Services function provides a range of services to the retail and wholesale electricity markets by working closely with electricity suppliers and the wider industry. In addition, the team includes our billing function who are responsible for invoicing suppliers for the use of the electricity network.

This is a really exciting time to progress your career with NIE Networks as we develop our organisational capability. Our systems and processes need to evolve to facilitate new technologies and smarter ways of working and these new roles will be key to our success. You will work with a variety of desktop, web and mobile applications to support our market related activities. You will also gain an in depth understanding of the electricity market and the wider electricity industry with a clear development plan to include job rotation opportunities within the team.
