POSITION DESCRIPTION:
A Google Ads Specialist is ultimately in charge of creating, maintaining and optimizing google ads accounts. A Google Ads Specialist’s job is to increase quality google ads traffic, decrease ad spend waste and improve ROI. This includes but is not limited to, google ads account setup, copywriting creation, keyword optimization, monitoring and growing the ROI on a google ads account. When a Google Ads Specialist is doing their job optimally, the google ads accounts they manage are growing in quality, efficiency, ROI and overall traction performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Google, Microsoft & Meta Ads Account Setup:
- Capturing necessary account information from clients
- Market research on relevant data for the industry the ads are for
- Uploading and creating target markets
- Creating an effective, well-structured ads account from scratch
- Call tracking creation, management, and auditing
Copywriting:
- Creating, editing, and auditing ad copies
Keyword Research:
- Checking search queries and creating new keywords and negative keywords
- Auditing the effectiveness of keywords
Google, Microsoft & Meta Ads Optimization:
- Account strategy
- Adding, tracking, and managing conversions in ads accounts
- Monitoring ad spend and guarding against inefficiencies in ad spend
- Updating and managing monthly changing specials and incentives in ads accounts
- Putting together monthly reporting
Landing Pages:
- Landing page flow and structure
- Production of compelling landing page copy
- Landing page conversion rate optimization
Team Collaborating:
- Collaborating and engaging with the WA team
- Aligning professional actions with the WA culture and values
- Engaging and communicating effectively with the WA team

- Demonstrated experience managing paid advertising campaigns with experience optimizing paid social campaigns
- Knowledge of digital marketing best practices including local search, review marketing, social media, web content and paid advertising
- Google AdWords Certification
- A financial, technical or data background preferred
- Marketing and lead/sales generation capabilities
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and be a creative problem solver and analytical thinker
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Systems-oriented, able to utilize technology and online management processes
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
Note: Bonus points if you're highly data driven/good at data analysis.
COMPENSATION: TBD depending on experience level
Job Type: Part-time
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £11.00-£25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
