Role: Golf Service Assistant
About Us
Rockliffe Hall is an AA-rated 5 red star resort in the north of England and is set within 375 acres outside the village of Hurworth, near Darlington in County Durham. We aim to provide an outstanding personalised service to each guest who stays, spas, golfs and dines and with us, acknowledging special occasions and making them memorable for all guests. We are currently seeking a Golf Service Assistant to join Team Rockliffe!
The Role
The main responsibilities of the role will be (but not limited to):
- To provide a friendly, welcoming and professional service to all guests, members and visitors arriving at the Clubhouse.
- To maintain excellent product knowledge of the Golf Operation in order to provide accurate and detailed information to guests and members and pro-actively up-sell at every opportunity.
- To be familiar with Pro Shop merchandise, buggy hire charges, course conditions, green fees and Clubhouse amenities.
- To display excellent communication skills with guests, members and team members at all levels whilst maintaining a level of professionalism at all times.
- To comply with the Golf Services Assistant daily checklist to ensure a 5 star standard is delivered.
- To participate willingly in organised training sessions within the hotel and own department.
- To assist guests and members with any queries or special requests.
