About the Role
Our Dukes Golf Course plays host to an outstanding 5* Championship Golf Course, situated on the edge of St Andrews. The club has an excellent reputation with a range of facilities on offer to its members and guests. We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Golf Operations Associate to become an integral member of the DSA Golf Operation and to contribute to the profitability and operation of the golf outlets across our resort.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Exceeding guests and members expectations through excellent and engaging customer service
- Anticipating any guest needs and following up on any feedback
- Merchandising products within our retail outlets – creating high quality and engaging displays
- Stock control through stock taking and spot checks
- Providing creating ideas to increase sales
- Manage and maintain our Buggy Store – cleaning down buggies and general tidying of the store area
- Providing guests and members with advice on Tee options, yardages , pace of play and course conditions
- Providing and clearing of range balls and maintain set-up to a high standard – clearing baskets and teeing area.
About you
You will be a friendly, sociable and enthusiastic individual who has a keen interest in golf and ideally, previous Golf operations experience. You will also have strong organizational and administrative skills, including Microsoft Word Excel and POS.
Salary
This is a casual opportunity during our high season, from March until September. A flexible shift pattern is offered with a competitive hourly rate and employee benefits. This role includes weekend working, early mornings and evenings.
