To support our Talent Acquisition function, we are seeking a Global Talent Acquisition Partner, Engineering, reporting directly to Hitachi Energy’s Global Talent Acquisition Leadership and partnering close with our recruitment organization on the ground. This role will focus on our key Engineering function, on recurring Hard-to-fill profiles, and will support our ongoing business growth in the Nordics, Benelux, France, Southern Europe and UK/IE.

In this role you will bring leadership to support & drive challenging, global Talent Acquisition assignments, with a focus on strategic vacancies across our business. You will focus on our core businesses and job functions, including (but not limited to): Electrical Engineering, Project Management and R&D.

This role will interact with and provide a critical service to senior management stakeholders throughout our business. Key Accountabilities

  • Support senior Hiring Managers in the end-to-end recruitment process for roles (primarily STEM) across Hitachi Energy’s global locations (Europe primary focus).

  • Collaborate with our 7 regional recruitment teams on assignments covering both internal mobility and external recruitment, as well as on direct sourcing and global talent pipelining.

  • Support global recruitment campaigns in close collaboration with the EB and Sourcing Team, from strategy and planning to activation and completion. Identify short-term and long-term gaps in talent demand and advise on solutions to talent challenges, providing innovative sourcing strategies to deliver to our stakeholders in alignment with our functional KPI’s.

  • Identify and communicate with candidates throughout the end-to-end recruitment process, then ensure a smooth handover to the local onboarding teams.

  • Promote Hitachi Energy as an employer of choice in relevant forums (digital), supporting our employer branding actions to attract the best global talent.

  • Analyze and interpret recruitment data and provide structured feedback to senior stakeholders in our recruitment processes (driving operational excellence) and opportunities to adjust hiring behaviors.

  • Identify and support our Hiring Managers in selecting and working with external Recruitment agencies for certain profiles or confidential assignments (<10% of roles filled via agencies). Ensure smooth service delivery to the business and that SLA’s are met or exceeded by vendors.

Profile

  • Bachelors degree (Masters preferred), ideally in a STEM discipline to facilitate your understanding of our job profiles and ideal candidate personas.

  • 10+ years’ experience as an in-house or executive search Talent Acquisition professional, gained within the international Energy or Engineering sectors, ideally within/supporting demanding multinational organizations.

  • Challenge-driven self-starter who owns tasks through to completion.

  • Strong attention to detail and operational excellence.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (other languages advantageous).

  • Strong competencies in stakeholder management.

  • Leading by influencing.

  • A team-player, possessing both self-confidence and humility.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Recruitment Application Tracking Systems (Workday, SuccessFactors, Taleo or similar)

  • Knowledge & Experience MS Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel

  • Leading cross-border recruitment campaigns for hard-to-fill recruitment assignments successfully to completion.

  • Inspiring and motivating others around you to collaborate towards a winning team spirit.

  • Thinking outside of the box, bringing creativity and realism to the global Talent Acquisition function

  • Strong expertise and lengthy experience in Executive Research and Direct Sourcing.
