WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Global Staffing & Mobility Team is at the heart of many BCG key strategic transformations, enabling the company to execute its comprehensive people agenda and achieve key priorities including those associated with the realization of our client, consultant and BST value propositions.
- Work closely with regional and local staffing as a thought partner on devising and delivering functional process changes that support firm-wide initiatives, e.g., achieving greater efficiencies of the function, incorporating carbon lens into staffing decision-making process, and ensuring better staffing outcomes so we can deliver on our client and employee value propositions
- Collaborate with regional and local staffing on driving change management initiatives and activities to facilitate roll-out and ensure adoption of these functional process changes across systems and businesses
- As BCG’s global digital staffing tool, SAM (Staffing and More) enables the implementation of key firm-wide initiatives and processes that support these; as such, our objective is that SAM becomes the single source of truth (SSOT) for all staffing data; with this objective in mind, you will oversee SAM’s:
- change agenda to drive usage and adoption of best practices
- training & enablement curriculum to ensure our staffers and consultants can fully leverage the application
- Change KPIs and metrics to track adoption and usage as well as meet SAM OKRs
- Facilitate best practice sharing of SAM use and staffing processes across different systems
- Enable change management best practice sharing and alignment among change managers in Global Staffing & Mobility team
- Ensure that the Change Management team works closely with Product Owners to:
- build and prioritize roadmap and support with requirements refinement, providing the end user perspective
- identify change impacts and risks to end users of tool changes, including integrations with other systems, and advise on necessary mitigation steps
- Manage 2 change managers as a player-coach line-manager
- Guide the development of their expertise, providing mentoring to help them identify areas for training and on-the-job expertise
- Encouraging autonomy, delegating thoughtfully, and providing a safe space for the team to grow and develop
- Creating time for feedback, 1:1 relationship building, and mentoring opportunities
Ensuring the “how” of the work performed by the team is aligned with established communication and change management best practices, technical roadmaps, and guardrails

- You need to be a problem solver, forward thinker and someone who is comfortable and experienced with navigating complexity

- Immersing yourself in the functionality of the tool, focusing on what it’s supposed to achieve
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with an exemplary attention to detail and accuracy
- Working with a virtual team spread-out across time zones
- Managing and developing a team Exhibiting the highest level of integrity and ability to manage and process sensitive data
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- You have at least a bachelor’s degree and preferably an advanced degree
- You will bring a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a professional services organization and/or heavily matrixed organization.
- You can work autonomously, independently, with only broad direction and you are very proactive
- Preferably, you have relevant background in staffing or consulting, with experience in team and project management
- You feel comfortable working in a virtual environment and with a geographically distributed team
- Excellent verbal and written communication (Fluency in English writing and speaking)
- Excellent MS PowerPoint, Excel
- Experience operating in an Agile model is a plus
- Internal BCG candidate preferred due to existing knowledge of the culture and business landscape

This role is part of the Global Staffing & Mobility Team and works closely with Global, Regional, and local staffing teams across BCG as well as with other inter-linked functions and across all levels of the organization.
