Global Reconciliations VP – Security Services

The Reconciliation Utility Control Group Team Supervisor works closely with our vendor service provider based in India to ensure that a quality service is provided as per the agreed terms and conditions of the contract. Individuals performing this role have a strong reconciliation skill set, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and ability to build relationships globally with various BUs, Operations, and IT teams.
What will you be doing?
-Review exceptions/breaks and the quality of research done by the vendor - provide feedback, if necessary
  • Check weekly ageing report against ops risk reporting and escalate to product management and senior management, where necessary
  • People Management, including direct management of staff, succession planning, personal development, training plans, performance reviews
  • Requirement to sit S99 qualifications
  • Assist and train vendor staff in exceptional processing cases, if necessary
  • Perform various intraday and end of day control checks on occasional basis to ensure that the vendor delivers quality output
  • Identify risk issues, escalate where appropriate and provide assistance in resolving
  • Ensure upward, downward and peer communication of developments and issues
  • Communicate changes/developments (process, organization or service related) to the vendor management group and the vendor on a timely basis
  • Review changes suggested by the vendor related to process, documentation, etc. and approve by following the proper change management process
  • Review SLA reporting done by the vendor and provide feedback
  • Participate in various governance meetings
  • Participate in organizational initiatives
  • Recruit permanent/temporary staff for the group, if required

  • Responsibility for the timely, effective and accurate escalation where appropriate
  • Responsibility for maintaining compliance with firmwide procedures and policies including, but not limited to SOX, Segregation of Duties, RCSA, Client Money
  • Identify and implement business process improvements relating to functional responsibilities of own teams or wider operations division in response to changing client needs or business changes
