The Commercial Content Solutions (CCS) team works with TikTok content or monetization side, to develop, sell and deliver global, exciting, fame-making brand partnerships grown from TikTok's best event programming.
These exciting programs are highly complex, creative, & media-driven projects which involve a large number of cross-regional XFN teams within TikTok. As project manager, you will ensure the project is developed and delivered to its best iteration, working with teams to create order from what can feel like chaos, while maintaining a creative, collaborative and positive team spirit.
The role requires you to not only project manage each contributing function's output, to ensure milestones are met within workstreams, but also to offer a holistic perspective to spot opportunities to foster more collaboration horizontally, and act as trusted advisor to the CCS team overall.
- Lead and coordinate strategic and operational programs to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects and achieve overall program goals.
- Provide expert advice on project management and collaboration processes between teams, to support and orchestrate creative and executional excellence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Define and deliver tools to optimise multi-regional project & programme management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any obstacles or challenges that may arise.
- Maintain and track detailed project activity to monitor progress against our goals, with project reporting to leadership and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
- Work closely with and report to the Content Solution Global Operation Lead, supporting efficient execution and XFN business operations.
- 3+ years experience in operations, project management, or planning roles in large (ideally global) media/ entertainment companies, management consultancy, or consumer tech.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, comfortable managing multiple tasks, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and experience working across teams in a matrixed organisation, with ability to work leveraging resources.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong executive presence and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Culturally sensitive, pragmatic and optimistic, positive attitude with a strong bias for action.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification potentially is a plus.
