Your role

Do you want to help shape the effectiveness of the global business-aligned compliance team for Global Markets, Group Treasury, Non-Core, Legacy and IB Operations? Are you confident when it comes to speaking up for what is right and challenging at all levels?
We’re looking for someone to:
  • Work directly with the Global Head of Global Markets, Group Treasury, Non-Core, Legacy and IB Operations Compliance to support the overall operation of the global business team, including:
o Supporting the leadership team meeting by helping drive agendas and manage action portfolios.
o Project & initiative tracking and status updates to senior management and management forums.
o Driving and coordinating input to regulatory requests, quarterly global business team meetings and other internal requests.
o Owning periodic tasks, such as maintenance of organization charts, creating management information packs, owning training audiences.
  • Take responsibility for the delivery of global alignment and/or efficiency projects, collaborating with multinational teams and the C&ORC IB Data Analytics team where necessary.
  • Act as a Champion for the C&ORC IB Data Analytics team, promoting automation capabilities to the wider global business team and helping to prioritize projects.
  • Independently perform / drive Thematic Reviews, as well as ad-hoc reviews, analyzing data and stakeholder feedback to improve the overall operation of the global business team.
  • Lead the roll out of training series designed to improve the skill set and knowledge of the global business team.
  • Build a strong relationship with the key stakeholders in the business, IB COO, GCRG and other supporting functions.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Global Markets, Group Treasury, Non-Core, Legacy and IB Operations aligned Compliance and Operational Risk Control (C&ORC) team in London. We support the business by partnering with them to effectively manage regulatory risk in an environment of collaboration and constructive challenge. Our duties include implementing the Operational Risk Framework and to ensure regulatory and operational risks are identified, properly assessed and recorded. You'll play an important role in helping us develop risk mitigating measures, controls and adequate remediation plans are in place. You'll also collaborate with global colleagues to ensure that best practices are being shared around the region/globe.
