We are looking for a motivated and experienced Global Marketing Operations Lead to join our team at Farnell UK. We are seeking a professional with strong technical skills in Adobe Workfront with proven project management abilities. In this role you will take responsibility for the design, implementation and delivery of marketing operations processes and systems. You will drive marketing performance through process optimization, data driven decision-making and innovative techniques to help drive the marketing teams' effectiveness.
You will be reporting to a Global Director and working closely with the team to develop and execute marketing operations. The working culture here at Farnell is one of trust and autonomy. Job Summary-
The role must support marketing with process, control and agility on a day-to-day basis and facilitate the development, delivery and tracking of the agreed marketing plans and off plan requests. Collaborating closely with the Director of Supplier & Product Marketing and wider marketing team, the purpose of this role is to optimize marketing effectiveness and increase efficiency within the team.
Proactive conflict resolution, process improvement, stakeholder management and liaising with global counterparts to agree on operational best practice are all critical elements.

Responsible for the Marketing enterprise Workflow Management solution (Adobe Workfront) to enable global collaboration across Europe, North America and APAC. In addition to the production and delivery of future roadmap to deliver enhancements and ongoing developments.
Responsible for our end-to-end localization process including management of our vendor relationship, internal marketing reviewers and translation request automated service hosted within Adobe Workfront.
Office located in Leeds – The role is remote/hybrid and office based 2 days a week

What will you be doing?
  • Input into and support the development of the global and regional supplier marketing plans and campaigns, through campaign prioritisation, resource allocation, status tracking, implementation and reporting.
  • Manage ways of working with creative services and other departments, as well as workflow solutions to optimise resource allocation and prioritisation. Manage ways of working with global counterparts. Manage activity tracking, visibility of plans, status updates and share as appropriate within agreed stakeholders.
  • Input into a regular marketing budget review cycle process to enable tracking audit, identification of opportunities and mitigation of risks. Work with budget owners to maintain status of specific line and/or own management of specific budget lines (example: Product Samples, etc.)
  • Management of vendor relationship with workflow management solution provider, including: contract negotiations; ongoing user license management; review and approval of all new functionality releases from provider before implementation, testing and roll out in live environment. Identify opportunities for integration.
  • Responsible for the daily management of Workfront internally including, system management, user support, query resolution, engagement and training. Regularly taking feedback from key stakeholders and driving continuous improvement.
  • Development and delivery of reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
  • Management of vendor relationship with Language services provider including: contract negotiations, arranging and leading quarterly QBR’s and ensuring service meeting our defined SLA’s
  • Managing the localisation process internally acting as a single localisation point of contact for all Farnell functions; Marketing, HR, Legal, ecommerce, Newark, Product etc.; providing advice, training and support as needed.
  • Manage business process change within marketing and optimise ways of working. Monitoring performance within operations and taking corrective action and planning continuous improvement.
  • Based on requirements, take ownership and support strategic cross-functional global and regional marketing programmes, projects and initiatives. (for example – Ecommerce / Supplier projects)
  • Provide operations support to other functions within marketing, such as Email and CLM functions.
  • Strong project management skills and stakeholder accountability to drive project outcome
