DePuy Synthes Companies of Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Global Marketing Manager, Clinical, VELYS ™ Robotic-Assisted Solution, Knees located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL with considerations in Warsaw IN, West Chester PA, Raynham MA, and other Johnson & Johnson US locations.
Have a passion for working with surgeons and clinical teams to define the clinical success of our VELYS™ Robotic-Assisted Solution globally? This Marketing Manager will report into the Global Senior Marketing Manager, Clinical, Downstream for the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution and will lead the clinical customer engagement strategy focusing on building a successful community of clinical users.
Digital surgery is a fast-paced, dynamic market that requires an adaptable mindset and entrepreneurial spirit. The role will also support marketing and Customer engagement strategies, campaigns & initiatives, all centered on accelerating technology adoption of our brand globally! Creating a community for current surgeon customers to expand their understanding of how digital technologies can help them treat patients, as well as, defining pathways for new customers to join our digital surgeon community. Leveraging an understanding of Knee surgery and techniques in relationship to digital technology will help accelerate successful adoption of our technologies across new and existing customers. Bringing a strategic mindset and strong ability to share key Customer User Experiences with cross functional partners will help the business constantly evolve with market dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Strategic Society Engagements and planning. Society meetings represent key opportunities for the business to connect and convey our value proposition to current and new customer.
- Partner with key marketing teams to create an engaging environment for customers to experience how our procedural solution is the best choice for their patients.
- Build strong relationships with Regional Marketing and Selling leaders, in addition to Clinical teams to leverage new market insights related to digital orthopeadic surgery.
- Build engagement campaigns and marketing collateral to enhance the User Experience.
- Support the growth of our customer community globally.
- Demonstrate strong experience in product management & clinical marketing, business health, communications, strategic marketing.
- Demonstrate a proven understanding of Primary Knee Surgical Process and Robotics – including understanding market trends, competitive intelligence and surgeon relationship management.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (required) and MBA (preferred).
- A minimum of five (2-3) years of relevant Marketing/Product Management/Product Introduction experience is required.
- Product Management and/or Product/Brand Marketing and Product Launch experience is required.
- Experience with Society meeting engagement is preferred
- Experience in Medical Devices or Orthopedics is required.
- Downstream/Regional marketing is required.
- Experience with MedTech capital and clinical procedural understanding is preferred
- Ability to monitor, analyze and report on business performance/health is required.
- Experience & competency in using consumer insights and analytics to develop Brand Strategy, Marketing Plans and translating these into consistent execution plans is required.
- Ability to prioritize and successfully lead multiple projects/priorities is required.
- Ability to work in a hands–on, fast paced, customer focused environment is required.
- Ability to work independently, proactively and with teams is required.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities/tight deadlines is required.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills are required.
- Ability to work with cadavers and within an Operating Room setting is required.
- Up to 40% domestic and international travel, including overnights and occasional weekends is required.
